Iroquois Nationals vs. Team Canada: Sunday, November 17th

Two of the best lacrosse teams in the world will meet this Sunday at 2:00 pm, November 17th- 2013 in the Bell Centre, Montreal, Canada.   The Iroquois Nationals Indoor Lacrosse Team is featured in an exhibition match with Team Canada.

The weekend of the Iroquois Nationals vs. Team Canada Exhibition game will include an introduction of the Iroquois Nationals team and 3 additional lacrosse games honoring Future and Past Haudenosaunee Lacrosse Athletes.

The Iroquois National program will sponsor a “Meet-N-Greet” the Iroquois National’s Players on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Kahnawake Community Lacrosse Box from 5-7pm.

The Iroquois Nationals players for the 2:00 pm main event are: #88 Cody Jamieson, #79 Sid Smith, #81 Roger Vyse, #63 Tom Montour, #77 Jeff Shattler, #93 Johnny Powless, #28 Vaughn Harris, #74 Jeremy Thompson, #24 Mike Lazore, #26 Brett Bucktooth, #83 Randy Staats, #47 Travis Hill, #72 Rod Squire,  Karak Two Axe, Kauwawiio Diome, Joe Hall, #84 Brandon Francis, Nick Angus, Tontie McComber,  #94 Wenster Green, #66 Mike Thompson, #55 Angus Goodleaf, Donovan Fleischer, Reserves; Mark Kirby, Shane Francis, Adam Bomberry, Chad Norton, and Josh Johnson.

The event in Kahnawake on Saturday, November 16yh, will include the official announcement releasing “Tammy Beavais Designs” as the official indigenous apparel company for the Iroquois Nationals Team for the 2014 & 2015 World Lacrosse Championships.  The 2014 WIC is July 10-19th in Denver, Colorado, and the 2015 is September 18-16th hosted by Haudenosaunee: Onondaga Nation, near Syracuse, New York.  Tammy Beavais is a Haudenosaunee: Mohawk from the Kahnawake Mohawk Community and designed the Iroquois Nationals official indigenous team apparel for the 2012 U-19 WLC in Finland last year.

The Iroquois Nationals Exhibition game provides a time to celebrate our future and past athletes with a pair of U-17 indigenous youth exhibition lacrosse games and an indigenous master’s lacrosse game scheduled prior to the 2:00pm main event Iroquois Nationals vs. Team Canada on Sunday at the Bell Centre.  The Iroquois Nationals announces the following schedule of lacrosse competitions for Sunday, November 17, 2013 at the Bell Centre, Montreal.
