Uhuru to the Iroquois Nation and Nationals Lacrosse team,

We just wanted to pass on the articles written to show our solidarity.  On behalf of the African Socialist International and the African People's Solidarity Committee, we support the Iroquois Nation's right to sovereignty on stolen land they call america and canada.  We recognize your passports. Here are the the links below:

To whom it may concern:

I am sending this email to express the support of the Winnemem Wintu

Tribe for the Iroquois National Lacrosse Team clearance "to leave and

return to participate in the World Lacrosse Championships in Manchester,

England" , under their own tribal passports.

As we saw and heard during the recent discussions on the US adoption of the UN Declaration
for the Rights of Indigenous Peoples hosted by the State Department this past week in
Washington DC, it is exactly for the rights of tribal people to establish their own rules and
regulations of self governance that must be adhered to by the United States. At the close of
the meetings we all who attended, hoped that the US would honor the documents and
agreements that have been in place with the native peoples of this land: in this case the more
than thirty year history of Iroquois people and others of the six nations who have their own
tribally issued passports.  The current effort to stop the team from traveling appears to this
observer as an attempt to force tribal people to submit to the United States and carry the
enhanced ID cards spoken of in the NGO discussion last Thursday rather than what we deem
necessary and appropriate as sovereigns.

I urge the White House and State Department to help resolve this issue quickly.  The world is
once again watching how the US treats Indigenous People and I hope that this time they have
reason to applaud the actions of the State rather than jeering our country as has been the
case in this recent past.

Respectfully

Percy,

Australia fully supports the Iroquois Nationals endeavours to travel to Manchester on their Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) passports and hopes that the difficulties are overcome quickly. The participation of the Iroquois Nationals at this event is highly anticipated.

Australia wishes your way cleared to ensure that you reach Manchester as planned.

Regards,
Viv

Percy,

Whatever Poland can do to help you and the players get to Manchester we will do.  The International Games would not be the same if the nation that shared their gift to the entire world was not in attendance.

Best wishes on a speedy resolution!

Dear Coaches;

On behalf of the Iroquois Nationals, I would like to take this moment to inform you of our situation so you will know our plight.

As you have heard the Iroquois Nationals plans to fly to England on Sunday to join you in the Athletes village at Manchester were dashed when problems occurred regarding the acceptance of our Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Passport by the UK Consulate and the US State Department. I am not pointing fingers at the UK or US and am in no way blaming Team England for this apparent bureacratic snafu, in fact, England Lacrosse and FIL have been very supportive of our stance in wanting to carry our own passports to the games. As of this time (7:30 am, NY time) things have not been resolved.

I would like to let you know that our team of 23 men stand ready to join you on the field, as you know, to them, that is the important thing; to play Lacrosse. So please let your respective countries know from a coaches and players level, of what this game means to you, this game that we call Dehontshihgwa'es (lit. "they bump hips"), our gift to the world.

We have repurchased flights to leave at 4pm today from New York, which would mean that we will have to know by 12 noon, if we will be able to fly and be there by Wednesday in order to prepare for Thursdays opening ceremony game of Iroquois v. England. We need a change in stance from someone to say that we can fly and be there to compete.

This is a last minute appeal for support from your respective countries to rally in our favor to help us to get to Manchester to play the Creator's Game, Lacrosse.
