-- Former Iroquois National Travis Solomon was honored at half-time of February 27's Virginia University vs. Syracuse University lacrosse game. Solomon, who is battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, first played for the Nationals in 1984. Most recently, he played for the Nationals' festival team at the 2006 World Lacrosse Championships, in London, Ontario, at the age of 46.
